The Joint R&D System Development with HongKong University -- Compiere EPR system

From last December 2007 onwards, Wittis Group has jointed Compiere EPR system R&D Project with HongKong University, Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE) and e-Business Technology Institute (ETI).

The objective is to integrate traditional business policy to the Gateway system for PRD Manufactures to Adopt Networked Logistics Customs Clear Platform. Through this project, Wittis would take this gateway system on different phrases (1) that can decrease the repetitive and accuracy of information input in our daily purchasing work, (2) that can simplify and systematic the purchasing operation flow, (3) that can minimize the purchasing costs and enhance the work efficiency and so on.

Besides, the use of the gateway system allows PTEs to minimize the costs caused by discrepancies and delays in customers declaration and clearance, improve the flexibility to fulfill different processing trade contacts, and increase the response to market change.

There is no doubt that this activity has expanded our friendly contacts and cooperation with HongKong University. And we hope that would have more chance to promote the common technology and development of both Wittis and HK University in the future.
